Our picturesque surroundings and stunning hall make the Golf Club the ideal venue for your next function. We are well equipped and experienced with hosting a variety of private and corporate sized functions and we have our function venue, better known as “The Lounge” can accommodate 100 people comfortably in one half of the venue and 120 if we utilise the enclosed veranda. These two areas are joined by concertina glass doors.


Our undercover patio braai lapa, which seats 60 guests comfortably, and is ideal for casual events after a golf day. (Venue hire charge does not apply to golf days). 


For club members and their immediate family, the venue is complimentary with only a service charge! 


The Golf Club has a full bar facility and we can assist you with planning any size function and arrange a cash bar, limited bar or full bar account. Our secure ample parking together with our kiddies play area enables you to create a function that is family orientated, welcoming and warm.


We are extremely flexible as to what we can offer you and we look forward to your booking.

Food


All food is to be purchased from South Downs Country Club. Kosher and Halaal catering can be provide on request. These must be ordered prior to the event. Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event. Menu price includes the hire of crockery and cutlery as per the menu requirements. We can tailor a menu to suit each clients needs.  We have a variety of catering options available. Please see menus and pricing below.
